“When my son was diagnosed with Stage IV Sarcoma, we spent a number of months at Children's Hospital and the wonderful programs they have at CHLA for the kids made our time there much more bearable.
Art and Music were very comforting to my son Phillip. He loved to help the younger kids with their art projects and had the desire to help as many children as he could. I have continued his legacy by starting The Phillip C. DeMars Foundation. I'm so fortunate to be able to impact the lives of others while partnering with some of the most passionate and driven people across the globe.”

Our Foundation’s History
2005: Phillip is diagnosed with cancer and begins helping the children with art projects, thus sparking the desire to start the HOPE Through The Arts Program.
2009: Phillip's legacy of HOPE lives on in the works of his mother and friends who help with many other charities
2011–2013: The founder starts the process of obtaining the 501 (c) (3) for The Phillip C. DeMars Foundation
2015: The Phillip C. DeMars Foundation officially becomes a nonprofit organization.
